Corporate Chief Architect (m/f/d)

Corporate governance of the Design Authority for the Group-wide expansion of standards and modularity with the aim of avoiding redundant developments, increasing the efficiency and speed of developments, creating necessary conditions for the expansion of Software Defined Defense and Multi-Domain Operations Solutions, increasing flexibility, interoperability, adaptability and scalability, and improving the quality and safety of our products Promoting cross-division technical exchange, identifying best practices, innovative design approaches and possible synergies as well as strengthening creativity and innovation culture Translation of strategic corporate objectives into architectural design principles and guidelines as well as derivation and communication of a long-term standardization strategy/roadmap taking account of business-specific requirements Assessment of submitted or requested proposals for new standards, definition or Specification of appropriate requirements and matching of existing best practices with regard to fulfilling these requirements in close cooperation with the divisions Monitoring compliance and implementation of agreed standards from the supply process to delivery, e.g. in the context of reviews and audits Escalation instance and decision-makers/intermediators for deviations from standards Continuous updating and further development of approved standard templates and associated best practices Measuring the effectiveness of measures and standards with the aid of appropriate KPIs and regular reporting to CTO Continuous observation of new trends and standards within and outside the industry including international standards and deriving appropriate measures for internal adaptation and application Support and guidance of the Divisional Chief Architects as well as the promotion of development areas related to the continuous optimization and further development of necessary skills, resources, processes, tools and technologies Promoting innovation culture through creating an environment that promotes and supports creative ideas and solutions Active relationship management to all development and business areas

Complete technical or scientific studies (e.g. physics, computer science or electrical engineering) Multiannual experience in the development of complex products and system solutions, ideally in the military environment or with system engineering background Experiences with the V-model, agile development methods and project and product management Excellent communication and moderation capability Experience in the professional leadership of heterogeneous/decentral team structures Structured, self-organized and analytical methods Business-oriented thinking and working methods German and English skills
