Senior Manager Strategic Projects - Sustainability Program (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the successful holistic implementation of strategic projects in various topics and ensure the achievement of the agreed goals and results. You define the project scope, schedule, resources, budget and risk profile, direct concrete work packages, milestones and results and establish robust project governance structures. You monitor and report the progress of the project, identify deviations early and initiate appropriate corrective measures. You continuously build and develop the sustainability strategy of Eppendorf as part of the corporate strategy, take responsibility for the dual nature analysis, define specific sustainability goals and make the way to achieve them. You play a central role in coordinating sustainability activities across the company and work closely with the company-wide project portfolio management, sustainability experts and key stakeholders. You control the sustainability program, ensure compliance with the sustainability strategy and monitor progress towards the defined goals, including the implementation of control sessions and decision forums. You identify synergies, dependencies and recurring obstacles in the sustainability activities and guide clear, implementable recommendations to increase the impact, eliminate obstacles and optimize resources. You work with external partners in connection with Eppendorf's sustainability efforts and control them. You prepare sound decision templates and create presentations for the team as well as for management incl. Management board. You bring an international readiness to travel up to 20%.

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Natural Sciences, Sustainability Management or a related field. You have proven experience in working with and consulting executives, including presentation of analyses and implementable recommendations. You bring at least five years of experience in project management as well as in the management of multifunctional project teams. You ideally have experience with sustainability issues such as sustainability reporting and assessments, climate change, management of natural resources or related areas. You are characterized by pronounced active listening skills in order to understand different perspectives and to promote open, respectful communication. You are proactively engaging with colleagues, colleagues and stakeholders, building trustworthy relationships and promoting community solutions. You keep commitments reliable and transparent and true responsibility and integrity in all phases of the project. You are able to resolve conflicts constructively and professionally and always keep the focus on solutions.
