Buyer / Public Procurement Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

Public procurement is more than the pure application of rules for you? Do you want to independently control tenders, develop solutions with specialist areas and stay close to implementation in operational purchasing? For an established public company in Berlin, we are looking for a buyer / public procurement (m/w/d). It expects a diverse purchasing position in a small, experienced team with short voting paths and high self-responsibility. In doing so, you will be responsible for various procurement processes – from goods and services to construction and engineering services to sophisticated technical investments and infrastructure projects. You carry out procurement processes, carry out procurement procedures independently and remain hands-on in operational purchasing.

Independent planning and implementation of national and pan-European procurement procedures taking into account statutory and internal requirements Procurement of construction, supply and services as well as technical goods including tender documents, tender evaluation and commission preparation Consultation and close coordination with internal departments on issues relevant to procurement and procurement Operational processing of orders, appointment monitoring, complaints, master data management and electronic invoice processing Ensuring complete procurement documentation and participation in the optimization of procurement and procurement processes

Completed commercial training, business or technical studies or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in purchasing and public procurement Practical experience with national and ideally Europe-wide award procedures and knowledge e.g. in VgV, UVgO, VOB/A, GWB or SektVO Experience with ERP/purchase systems, ideally SAP MM, as well as electronic award or tender platforms German language skills and an independent, structured and hands-on approach
