Designing software solutions for digital and modern administration, which organize the involvement of citizens: in cities and communities – across Bavaria and Germany. What do you expect from the AKDB? In this area, the development, maintenance, care and third-level support of all specialist procedures are carried out in compliance with the prescribed framework conditions regarding IT and QM standards as well as budget, time and quality.

You work in one of our agile Scrum teams to further develop central components of digital administration, including user account, central mailbox and wallet. You design and develop scalable backend services for our e-government platform based on Java and Spring Boot. You are actively involved in architectural issues, software design and release processes and support your team in technical decisions. You develop and operate services within a microservice architecture and design robust interfaces for our platform. You make sure that our backend systems can be operated effectively, scalable and safe. You work with modern platform technologies such as Kubernetes, Helmet and Database Systems. You move around identity and access management solutions and ideally work with standards such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC or SAML as well as components such as Keycloak. You ensure the quality of your solutions by automated testing and modern development processes. In addition, you work closely with operations, stakeholders and customer service.

You have a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification. You have well-founded experience in the backend development with Java and Spring Boot. You have experience with microservice architectures, API development and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ. You know cloud technologies and container platforms like Kubernetes. You bring experience with databases (e.g. Oracle) as well as DevOps and CI/CD tools like Jenkins. You like to work independently, structured and solution-oriented. You value teamwork in an agile environment and actively engage in technical discussions. You regularly reflect on your work and develop together with your team.
