Number: MER00048VX Within the area of Procurement and Supplier Quality Powertrain/Electric drives, we are responsible for the global procurement of components for transmissions and electric drives for Mercedes-Benz cars and vans. The focus is in particular the transformation towards electrical drive systems. For this exciting and forward-looking task we are looking for you to support our team. Your tasks in detail: Participation in global tenders and in negotiations with suppliers in compliance with procurement processes Cooperation in the identification and realization of savings potentials and in the development of procurement strategies Support in managing change management and tracking of upcoming awards Cooperation with internal departments such as development, logistics, quality, risk management, controlling and cost planning as well as with national and international suppliers Participation in procurement market research, the creation of cost reports and procurement procedures, as well as the preparation and follow-up of project bodies and working groups What you expect: Exciting insights into the global procurement of components for electric drive systems Working with current and future projects in the context of transformation to electromobility Direct contact to internal interfaces and international suppliers Insights into the risk management of a global supplier portfolio Possibility to participate in internal appointments, management rounds and selected supplier appointments The activity can begin from March 2027.

Course in Economic Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or a comparable degree course Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office, especially MS Excel Commitment and team skills Analytical way of thinking and structured working Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
