IT Application Manager Finance (m/f/d)

First contact person for Taxes, Finance & Controlling in demanding process and system issues specialist management of medium-sized project teams and external service providers; Control and coordination of cooperation in IT projects concerning finance applications Coordination of individual measures and implementation of medium-sized software or organizational projects in business-critical finance functions Defining, introducing and accommodating Best-Practice Methods for Taxes, Group Consolidation, Risk Management and Financial Reporting implementation of system and process assessments as the basis for requesting; acts as an IT interface between Finance, Taxes, Risk and IT. Participation in the design and development of the application landscape for finance Creation of training documents, implementation of user training and management of role and authorization concepts for financial and reporting systems Analysis of potential for improvement in tax, consolidation, risk management and reporting; Projecting and implementing measures in close coordination with the Department of Finance & Controlling.

Higher education in the field of economic informatics or in another way acquired relevant qualifications Multiannual relevant professional experience in the field flowing German and very good English knowledge in word and writing Practical knowledge in at least one finance module (e.g. SAP FI/CO, SAP S/4HANA) and basic knowledge in tax and/or Consolidation tools Knowledge of reporting and analysis platforms Experience with SAP BW/BI and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for financial reporting, monthly /yearly financial statements and KPI dashboards Understanding application architectures Basic knowledge of On Premise, Hybrid and SaaS solutions as well as their integration into the financial application landscape Cooperative cooperation with project teams, specialist departments and external service providers. Proactive advice and support of the departments, quick processing of requests and training Flexible for regular service trips to locations, customers or partners (national and possibly international)
