Consultant IT Security (mwd)

Testing the security of customer networks as well as advice regarding optimization of network security.

Your job as a consultant IT Security is to find gaps and security issues in the customer's network environments. To do this, you must penetrate their network (remote, via WLAN etc., web applications, web services and portals). You advise customers how such attacks can be prevented, which security products need to be used and how to configure them. As a junior with first operating system and network skills, you will be optimally prepared for these tasks and receive appropriate incorporation and support by experienced colleagues. After the multi-week installation at the site, you can work from the home office and are only valid for customers (about 1 times per quarter)!

Study of a suitable subject Deeper experiences in pentesting Good knowledge of Windows and LINUX operating systems (e.g. through working student activities, internships or from the private sector) Network expertise (e.g. TCP/IP, Packetdumps) Good experiences in handling techniques / tools such as Nmap, Nikto/Burp Suit, Metasploit, Wireshark and comparable Good knowledge of German (Level C) and English

This task is interesting, since you are systematically guided by the recognition and elimination of vulnerabilities. During the learning phase, you will accompany experienced colleagues and supplement training on IT security with this practical approach. You come into contact with clients from all industries and are deeply involved in the fight against attacks. You need very good knowledge of Linux and network protocols as beginners.
