Working environment The Evangelical Hospital Alsterdorf belongs to the medical societies of the Evangelical Foundation Alsterdorf. It is an academic teaching hospital of the University Hospital of Hamburg-Eppendorf and has a special assignment for the medical and nursing care of people with disabilities. The Evangelical Hospital Alsterdorf currently has 327 fully-stationary and 91 substationary beds.

Our rontopsychiatric institution is deliberately different from classical ideas of this field. We focus on the relationship-oriented accompaniment of older people with mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety disorders or adaptability. The aim of our work is to develop ways back into more self-employment and quality of life together with the patients. Professional care and psychosocial care of our patients with rontopsychiatric illnesses (e.g. depression, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders) in the 3-layer system Structure and design of sustainable, professional relationships in the sense of relationship-oriented care Support for patients in (re) obtaining self-employment and everyday competence Observation, documentation and assessment of mental and physical condition in close cooperation with the multi-professional team Active participation and implementation of individual care and support plans Participation in case meetings, team meetings and continuous professional development Promoting an appreciation, resource-oriented atmosphere in everyday life

A completed training for the health and nursing staffin, nursing staff, nursing staffin or a university degree in the dual Bachelor's programme Care Interest or experience in Gerontopsychiatrie/ Psychiatry Sensitivity, patience and the ability to build trusting relationships with older people with mental illnesses Relevant basic attitude and resource-oriented thinking Willingness to take responsibility and work independently in the interdisciplinary team Reflectivity and interest in professional development
