Dexcom Deutschland GmbH is looking for a full-time: Senior Accountant (m/w/d) - Healthcare As part of our D-A-CH Finance team, you can support our companies in Austria and further expand our financial organization in Italy. Our team works closely across borders and places great emphasis on quality, reliability and continuous improvement. In your role, you take responsibility for the main accounting, including the monthly and annual accounts, work with internal and external contacts and introduce your experience in accounting. You are the central contact person for accounting topics around our Austrian and Italian companies. You ensure that monthly, quarterly and annual accounts are drawn up reliably and on time. You keep track of balance sheet and GuV, analyze developments and ensure the quality of our financial data. You work with colleagues from Finance, Controlling and other departments as well as with external partners. You actively shape processes and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization and automation. You support the implementation of new accounting requirements and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations. You bring your expertise into local and international projects and help to further develop our financial processes.

You bring in sound knowledge of accounting; Experience according to US – GAAP/IFRS is particularly valuable, knowledge in HGB or UGB are a plus. You have at least five years of experience in financial and accounting and have continuously developed professionally and in your responsibility. You communicate fluently in German and English and move safely in an international working environment. You work precisely, structured and never lose sight of the whole. You use your analytical skills to understand challenges and develop sustainable solutions. You build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate clearly and addressably. You bring your expertise into an international environment and you like to work across areas. You enjoy developing processes and critically questioning existing working methods. You are sure to go with ERP systems as well as MS Excel and quickly find your way into new applications. You have already gained experience in an international corporate environment. Nice-to-have You have knowledge of Italian accounting (Italian GAAP). You're probably communicating in Italian. You are interested in digitalization topics and the optimization of finance processes. Travel: 0-5 % Experience and training: As a rule, a Bachelor degree and at least 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience are required.
