You install, configure, handle, implement and update our database system MS SQL Server as well as its databases for the applications. In particular, the localization and elimination of disturbances and problems as well as the implementation of optimization measures fall into your task area. You are responsible for the planning and implementation of data migration as well as the integration of databases. In addition, you are responsible for and supporting the cause finding and troubleshooting in application systems (database systems, data constellations, job errors, program errors). The execution of upgrades and maintenance work to ensure system stability and their safety complements your task area. Finally, you support the IT projects department in project work.

You have a completed training as a professional informant or a study in the field of computer science or business informatics, multi-year professional experience or a comparable qualification. Finding knowledge of the administration of the Microsoft SQL Server is what distinguishes you. First experiences with IT projects are of advantage. In addition, you have already been able to gain knowledge with different applications. Ideally, you have experiences or interest in other database technologies such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
