The clinics of the Centre for Internal Medicine are distributed to several buildings on the grounds of the clinic due to the different treatment areas. The predominant part is located in our modern diagnostic-internist neurological centre. This unites a variety of medical areas under one roof, so interdisciplinary cooperation can take place even better and faster. The Department of Gastroenterology of the Medical Clinic 1 of the University Hospital Dresden has two stations with 29 beds each. The professional groups (including medical personnel, nurses and therapists) work together interprofessionally for the holistic care, diagnostics and therapy of our patients.
