In the Team Sensor Design within the Multisensoric Coordinate Measuring Machines business unit, we develop sensors for fast, reliable and high-precision coordinate measuring instruments. Your role You design and process mechanical parts and mechatronic assemblies with 3D CAD.

You develop designs that are ready to manufacture and choose suitable manufacturing methods and materials, in compliance with the relevant standards.

You create individual parts and assembly drawings with complete dimensions as well as fit and tolerance details.

You create lists and maintain them, including managing the master data in the ERP/SAP system.

You create and update the production and development related documentation.

You carry out basic structural calculations (e.g. dimensioning, simple strength proofs).

You work closely with development, production and quality assurance and actively contribute your ideas to the optimization of products and processes.

You are state-tested:r Techniker:in the field of mechanical engineering, precision engineering or mechatronics.

You have well-founded multi-year practical experience in dealing with common 3D CAD systems, ideally CREO, especially in 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation.

You have basic knowledge of FEM simulation, preferably with CREO Simulate or ANSYS.

You have experience in the maintenance of master data as well as in the creation and maintenance of piece lists, ideally in SAP.

You are characterized by a high degree of self-organization, flexibility and a strong willingness to learn.

You actively bring your ideas to the team and ensure knowledge transfer

You work methodically, objectively and carefully and have a quick understanding.

You have fun testing directly on the device and are ready to pack on site on 3–4 days a week.
