Global Category Manager IT - limited to 2 years (m/f/d)

Strategically aligning IT purchasing: you develop and implement a global procurement and category strategy for IT categories such as software, hardware, IT services, cloud solutions and digital applications. Sourcing soundly manages: you analyze markets, technologies and suppliers, evaluate performance and potentials and derive competitive global sourcing decisions. Negotiating contracts: You conduct price and contract negotiations with global IT suppliers, accompany procurement decisions and secure commercially and contractually viable solutions. Networking stakeholders: You work closely with IT, Digital Transformation, Cyber Security, Finance and Legal, understand business requirements and bring relevant interests together in a targeted manner. Supplier Performance Optimize: You control global IT supplier relationships, monitor costs, quality, service levels, compliance and innovation contributions, and implement efficiency initiatives such as supplier consolidation, license optimization and standardization.

Technical background: You have completed their studies in business informatics, information technology, economic engineering, business management or comparable qualifications. Strategic shopping experience: You bring relevant professional experience in strategic purchasing or category management – ideally in IT or technology related product groups. Security of contract and negotiation: You convince with a strong competence in contract management and in negotiations, especially in complex IT and service contracts. International cooperation: You communicate clearly, control stakeholders sovereignly and adopt category leadership in a global environment at eye level. Language-proof and analytical: You combine strong analytical and commercial skills with a result-oriented working method and speak fluently German and English.
