You are primarily responsible for the development, implementation and optimization of generic AI solutions for different business areas Conception and operation of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for intelligent linking of internal data with AI models belong to your tasks Implementation of modern, user-friendly frontends for AI applications (e.g. chatbots, self-service portals) Backend development to integrate and provide AI services including API connection and database access For this purpose, you work closely with IT and departments to select and integrate relevant data You test and validate AI models and applications and drive their continuous optimization You also work with the selection and operation of relevant frameworks, cloud services and tools (e.g. Azure, OpenAI APIs) Lastly, ensure the documentation and compliance of data protection and compliance policies

Successfully completed studies in computer science, mathematics, data science or comparable qualification or Professional experience in AI development Experience in the development of AI models, ideally in the field of generative AI, LLMs, NLP or RAG Good knowledge of programming languages such as Python and common AI frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain) know-how in the frontend development (e.g. React, Angular or Vue.js) and in the backend (e.g. Python, Node.js); Practical experience with interfaces (REST APIs) and databases of advantage Experience with cloud technologies (e.g. Azure), containerization (Docker) and CI/CD processes desirable Responsible handling of IT security, data protection and AI ethics Analytical thinking and innovation joy combined with design and implementation strength Joy of knowledge transfer and continuous development
