Our area of responsibility with its diverse tasks extends essentially over three core areas: domestic topics, construction and sports. An essential feature of this is our Unit D 6 located in Department D “Police Affairs / Landes Polizeipräsidium”.

Unit D6 is responsible for hybrid threats and cybersecurity. We are looking for active support for this diverse field of activity.

AL FACHINFORMATIKER (M/W/D)

• ...you are responsible for the observation, classification and presentation of the cybersecurity and resilience regulators from national references to federal law to EU legal acts
• ...in exchange with the BSI and other work-level departments on IT infrastructure issues
• ... consider and evaluate IT infrastructure (architecture, protection requirements, attack areas) based on recognised frameworks, in particular BSI-IT basic protection
• ... prepare suggestions for action on relevance and severity of critical incidents
• ...assist the mapping technically in the field of cybersecurity and hybrid threats
• ... develop and operate your own services and tools (e.g. automation, self-hosting) for the unit

**WHAT THERE

• Successful completion of vocational training as a specialist (m/w/d) in the field of system integration or application development or equivalent skills and experience
• Funded knowledge of cybersecurity regulators (BSIG/KRITIS nomenclature, NIS-2, IT Security Act) with references from country to federal government to EU
• Ability to evaluate IT infrastructure (BSI IT basic protection, protection requirements detection, attack areas)
• Understanding the threat situation and ability to assess cyber incidents
• knowledge of the BSI structures and ability to exchange expertise at federal and regional level
• Ability to prepare technical facts for the management and for non-technics
• Self-responsibility, discretion and reliability in handling sensitive information
• Experience with Linux-based and self-operated systems of advantage
• Knowledge of automation/scripting and application development
• Experience with OSINT and Monitoring tools to support location
• Experience in the handling of VS-NfD-eighed information
• Basic understanding of hybrid threats of advantage
