Software Development Engineer (m/w/d)

For decades, as a leading system house for marine electronics, we have been supporting marines around the world to make the lake safer. We offer a wide range of services to our customers, including Sonars and Sensors, Guide Systems for submarines and overwater ships, mine defence systems, unmanned underwater vehicles and radio and communication systems.

As part of our development team for weapons, leadership and deployment systems (combat management systems) in the field of marine defence, you are a software developer. You are responsible for creating specifications and technical concepts on software components or Unit level. This requires close cooperation with the Technical Manager and coordination with the interface partners. Your tasks include the comprehensive documentation of the software, including the creation of UML models and test specifications, procedures and protocols. The implementation and integration into the system takes place independently and independently, working with other software developers. You'll take part in the estimation of dates and costs.

You have a degree in computer science or engineering or a comparable professional qualification. You have well-founded experience in application development and master problem-oriented high-level languages such as C++, Java and Python. You are familiar with methods, procedures and tools for specification, testing and qualification during the development process. Requirement-based work is not a challenge for you and you have good knowledge in UML/SysML. You have the ability and endurance to work yourself into existing software and complex systems. Ideally, you have experience in the professional leadership of teams and convince by a high team capacity. You are used to safely use your English skills in word and writing in everyday work.
