In the field of quality management, we ensure our premium standards every day with a global, globally connected team. In the area of Body & Drive Systems E/E, we are responsible for the quality assurance E/E of relevant customer functions in the areas of body and drive – for PHEV, HEV and BEV vehicles. These include charging functions and features, vehicle access/opening and air conditioning both in the vehicle and in the Mercedes Benz app. In order to support our team, we are looking for an intern who, together with us, develops an internal iOS app, which is designed to simplify and improve customer functions in a sustainable manner. Your tasks Development of an iOS application (SwiftUI) to support the quality assurance of customer functions Conception and implementation of a comprehensive software solution for various vehicle functions (e.g. drive, driver assistance systems, networking, digital services and comfort functions) Connection of the app to a backend (Azure) incl. interfaces and data concepts Close cooperation with quality management, development and test teams Participation in further exciting tasks and projects in the context of vehicle and software quality assurance – depending on the project phase What we offer An independent development project with real added value for several fields Insights into the interaction of various E/E and software domains and the quality assurance of modern vehicle and app functions Working at the interface Vehicle – App – Cloud Cross-domain work and comprehensive system understanding Flexible working hours and hybrid work Support for testing latest Mercedes Benz vehicles that are not yet available for customers Bachelor/Master thesis possible The activity can begin from June 2026.

This is ideally brought with you Continuous study of computer science, software engineering or a comparable technical study programme First practical experience with iOS development, ideally SwiftUI First experiences with agile development methods and usability/concept studies. Basic knowledge of APIs and backend systems (e.g. Azure of advantage, but no need) Interest in software quality, testing, user experience and vehicles Structured, analytical method and high self-initiative Teamability and interest in complex technical systems Good German and English skills in word and writing If you want to actively shape software quality, dive deep into vehicle development and work on a tool that is used across the domain, we look forward to your application.
