As an IT manager/IT manager (m/w/d), you are working on the further development and operation of our IT infrastructures, thus ensuring the safe operation of the IT services of the Landesverwaltung. Your area: Technology division The digital transformation of the state administration requires a new technical infrastructure in the coming years. We create the basis for the E-Government basic components and IT services in the Technology business unit by using modern technologies. The aim is to increase the digital sovereignty of the state administration. In addition, we are guided by modern service management according to ITIL.

Your main activity: As a manager with personal responsibility, you ensure the operation of IT.NRW's data centers and take responsibility for the central IT-Full-Service provider of the Landesverwaltung NRW with a large product portfolio. These include the operation and further development of large networks (LAN/WAN), modern communications services and complex security infrastructures (Firewalls, Trustcenter) of large server infrastructures (Windows, UNIX), modern SAN and BackUp infrastructures as well as databases and middleware components of IT work environments (PC, mobile devices, software) and a service desktop for IT.NRW and our customers a powerful output center for printing, enveloping and scanning

You bring with them: Diploma or master of a scientific university (or comparable) in the field of information technology (informatics, geoinformatics, business informatics, physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, engineering, mathematics) or a corresponding degree from a comparable course of study Know-how in at least one of the following technical areas: Network Security infrastructures RZ infrastructures (e.g. server, backup, container, virtualization) Databases/Middleware IT workstation environments Printing, envelope and scanning technology

Experience in at least one of the following areas of information technology (also from internships or studies): IT and RZ operational tasks IT Service Management by ITIL Development of IT architectures Implementation of small or large IT projects

Secure German (in Word and Writing) Also desirable are: A certification in the field of program or service management Experience in presentation and moderation Confidence with the structuring of tasks and management of teams Your personality: Team spirit and service orientation Initiative and open to dealing with changes High communication and problem-solving competence Additional job information: A later takeover into the civil service is possible in the event of the budgetary and running conditions. The invitation to tender does not open the professional development within the category 2 (cf. §§ 25 - 27 LVO NRW). A transfer of full activity and responsibilities and thus a grouping into the 14 TV-L pay group takes place if you have at least three years of relevant professional and management experience after completing your studies. In all other cases, you will first be hired in the 13 TV-L remuneration group and prepared for higher quality activities. For some areas, a successful safety review according to § 11 SÜG NRW is required (is initiated within the framework of the recruitment process).
