Design Engineer Mechanical Engineering (m/f/d)

In your role, you develop solutions and concepts for systems/systems and implement them constructively in designs and documents. You project these systems/systems and produce documents such as drawings, 3D models and piece lists. You take the execution of design calculations, the creation of functional sequences and make specifications for design, manufacturing and suppliers. You will set up test specifications and support for tests and, if necessary, also for acceptances and check drawings and lists. You make suggestions for own-production compared to purchasing parts and work on projects. The definition of work packages, the structuring of building documents and the building management in Germany and abroad is also your task.

You can present a completed technical or scientific study, ideally focusing on mechanical engineering. You have been able to gain professional experience for several years and have very good knowledge of system and component development. Ideally, you have knowledge of marine/yard activities or another maritime area. You have the ability to think across the system and have a high technical understanding. A structured way of working according to System Engineering specifications and good EDV knowledge, as well as the ability to analytical and conceptual thinking distinguish you. You enjoy team leadership and guidance from employees. Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing complete your profile.
