ZEISS Microoptics is a unit of the Photonics & Optics strategic business unit specializing in the development, optimization, mastering, replication and integration of optical applications based on micro-optical and holographic optical elements.

Your role Technical planning and management of development projects in the field of micro-optics with focus on holography / interference lithography

Conception of exposure and exposure of holographic diffraction grating

Accompanying the entire production chain on the way to the series and design of replication strategies

Independent development and development of new measurement technology and analysis tools

Occupational participation in domestic and foreign customer visits and support of sales in the creation of offers

Complete studies in physics or engineering science with a focus on optics

Practical experience in microstructuring in clean room environment, ideally in microoptics

Found experience as project manager (m/w/x) of development projects in research and industry

Expert knowledge about the entire process chain of microstructuring

Knowledge in the field of microoptics on optics design, simulation, physical or technical optics, diffraction theory and holography

Funded software knowledge in Python, Matlab and/or C# as well as high skills in handling Zemax are of advantage

Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
