As a dedicated STACKITEER, you are part of the STACKIT Products division. Our products and services are developed, tested and improved here. Stability & Reliability: You are responsible for maintaining and optimizing the stability and availability of our highly available, resilient storage infrastructure (block, object, backup and file storage). This ensures by proactive monitoring, resolves incidents independently and avoids their future occurrence Automation: You automate the deployment and operation processes in the storage environment with your own claim to be a bit better every day and continuously optimize our products Architecture: With your team you are responsible for a robust and efficient storage architecture – because it is important to build a long-term stable and reliable solution that our customers like to use End-to-end response: The identification with our products that we provide to our customers is very important to us. Therefore, we actively live an end-to-end response and get support from many internal STACKIT service teams to refine our services Performance and capacity planning: You analyze and optimise the performance of our existing systems in terms of future scaling of the landscape. This also includes predictive capacity planning Incident and postmortem analysis: The work-up of (Major) Incidents with storage participation as part of the Incident & Problem Management Process of STACKIT aims to derive mitigating measures for the future and then successfully implement them

You want to move something big and make a significant contribution to the solution with the latest cloud technologies You have a strong experience in the market environment with various storage products (e.g. NetApp, Cohesity, Pure, Ceph) in the area of block, object, backup or file storage and have good knowledge of cloud environments and their architectures You are an expert in the operation of storage infrastructure (e.g. solution scenarios, provision, scaling, migration, incident response) and their automation (e.g. by means of Golang/Python, Bash, Ansible) You know well in containerized system landscapes of the storage environment (e.g. k8s) You have experience in monitoring, alerting and logging to ensure complete system monitoring (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch) You already work with APIs and develop them further (e.g. REST API with Golang and Python) You have fun in the challenges of operating storage systems (e.g. protocols, troubleshooting, performance analysis, high availability, lifecycle) You bring passion and enthusiasm for new technologies and topics around various storage systems with You like to be part of a motivated team that always strives for improvements and continuously develops itself (and products) Your excellent communication skills in German and English form the basis for successful cooperation in international, agile teams JOBV1_EN
