QA Specialist Goods Receipt & Supplier Quality (m/f/d)

Is an even small but highly innovative and technically sophisticated engineering company based in Fürth in the Odenwald (Hessen) and about 40 employees. The core business is the development, production and distribution of high-quality attachment tools for construction engineering. With many innovations, intelligent and sophisticated solutions, high quality standards and numerous patents, the company is clearly well positioned for sustainable growth and in a specialized market environment.

With increasing series volume and a growing supplier base, quality assurance is established for the first time as an independent role in the company. An experienced, practice-oriented personality is sought, which checks in the day-to-day business and also builds test processes and a durable supplier quality step by step.

Operatively examine structures with structures, make quality measurable.

You carry out the goods input testing of mechanical components and assemblies (turning and milling parts, bending parts, welding assemblies, preassembled attachments) – incl. Measurement, visibility and simple function tests based on existing test measurements/test specifications from construction and purchasing. You evaluate deviations (desired/actual comparison, OK/NOK), document test results and agree complaints with suppliers and internal interfaces (development, purchasing, production/assembly). At the same time, you will continue to build the measuring instrument management: combining existing measuring instruments, determining requirements and selecting and obtaining necessary measuring instruments You establish a systematic test device monitoring and calibration – corresponding processes do not yet exist. You keep the quality overview on their own (currently located in the shopping area) and establish a regular QS/KVP meeting – aim: identify accumulations, control measures, and maintain implementation. You build a practical evaluation of test and complaint data in Excel and develop it together with IT. Participation in the further development of test documents and release processes – you deliver the QS view in discussions with design, purchasing and manufacturing.

Subject Complete technical training (e.g. industrial mechanic, machining mechanic, technician, QS specialist) or comparable qualification. About 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance, ideally in mechanical engineering or mechanical manufacturing. Safe handling of technical drawings and specifications (form and position tolerances, surfaces, materials). Experience with measuring instruments and test methods (measuring slides, micrometers, teachings, surface measurement; ideally 3D measurement technology). Basic understanding of common manufacturing processes (turning, milling, welding, bending, casting). Very good knowledge of German in word and writing; English knowledge of B2 level desirable.

Self-organization in an incomplete environment: not everything is defined, you must not block it – you are sharing information from different areas instead of waiting.
