In order to strengthen our team of E.DIS Netz GmbH, we are looking for a specialist in occupational safety (m/w/d) at the Fürstenwalde/Spree site.

As an occupational safety officer, you are responsible for advising executives in all aspects of occupational safety. This includes the planning, execution and maintenance of plant and social facilities, the procurement of technical resources, the selection and testing of body protection products and the assessment of working conditions. You carry out the safety review of plant and equipment before it is put into operation and carry out regular visits to the workplaces to report defects and propose measures to eliminate them. It is your responsibility to monitor the correct use of body-protection devices and to contribute to their compliance. In addition, you are responsible for the investigation of accidents, documentation, evaluation and the preparation of proposals for accident prevention. You participate in the investigation of mistreatment and fire protection measures and adapt the occupational safety organisation to legal requirements. Furthermore, you organize preventive examinations of the employees and work closely with authorities and professional associations.

You have experience in carrying out trainings and presentations on occupational safety issues and a class B driving licence. Professional knowledge of fire protection and the operation of electricity and gas networks are advantageous. Personally, you are characterized by entrepreneurial thinking, result orientation and communication skills. It is desirable to have completed vocational training as well as additional training as 'safety skills'. You will definitely need a technical degree (technician/master/bachelor or the like).
