As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,700 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security.

At more than 80 locations in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Niedersachsen and Bremen, the Service Center Hamburg ensures decentralized service in the area of telephony, hardware and software, LAN, WAN and permanent representation of BWI GmbH on site in the properties of the Bundeswehr. In addition, the Service Center Hamburg processes defined task packages within the framework of projects and provides on-site service at the BWI-owned IT.

Your profile:

Completed professional training or comparable

At least three years of professional experience in IT and/or logistics

Knowledge of IT processes as well as standard service management systems (document tools, ticket systems, CMDB, etc.)

Organisational skills, attention to detail, initiative and team skills

High communication capability and customer and quality orientation

German language skills in word and writing

driving licence class B

Experience in the governmental or Bundeswehr environment desirable

Your tasks:

Order acceptance, testing and clarification of order and delivery orders with regard to terminological and economic feasibility taking into account stocks

Maintenance and update of hardware in stock to maintain operational capacity

Intake of goods including incoming goods inspection of consumables, spare components, hardware and material of destructive reservoirs incl. Hardware Regeneration

Storage and inventory management in SAP

Commissioning, shipping, transport and delivery to the disposal and clarification of warranty claims

Coordination of sub-service providers and cooperation in projects and subprojects for the migration of IT/TK infrastructure

Quality control and cooperation in optimization projects

Implementation of DGUV V3 tests in the warehouse
