Senior Engineer SAP Defense & Security (m/f/d)

Designing SAP Defense Solutions: The development and implementation of highly specialized SAP solutions based on SAP Defense Forces & Public Security (S/4HANA Defense & Security) for Bundeswehr, Arms and Security Authorities are among your tasks. Promoting S/4HANA Transformation: You accompany complex migration projects from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA in safety-critical environments – with smooth transitions without operational interruptions. Compliance & Security: Compliance with strict security policies, export control regulations and VS compliance is ensured when implementing SAP systems. Professional leadership: The acquisition of technical leadership in defense projects as well as the further development of junior consultants to defense-sAP experts are your responsibility.

SAP expertise in the defense environment: Multiannual experience with SAP ERP/S/4HANA – ideally including SAP Defense & Security as well as logistics modules (MM, WM, PM, EWM) – you have demonstrated in security-critical implementations; Experiences in the Mobile Application Integration Framework (MAIF) are considered valuable plus. Technical depth: Finding knowledge in SAP ABAP/ABAP OO, SAP Fiori, Fiori Elements, Core Data Services, OData and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) you are committed to tailor-made defense solutions. Defense-Background & Security clearance: professional experience in the defense industry, in the Bundeswehr, in arms companies or defense-focused consultations is available; you also bring the readiness to the SÜG review or an existing clearance (ideally to VS-VERTRAULICH). Project methodology: Experience with classic and agile approach models in regulated environments and solid knowledge in requirements engineering according to IREB. Optional industry knowledge: A good understanding of military procurement processes, NATO standards, the War Weapons Control Act and the specific challenges of the defence industry completes your profile. Communication talent: You can communicate safely in German and English, internally and externally.
