They develop and improve functional DUV and EUV coating processes based on diverse technologies in interdisciplinary expert teams and transfer coating processes into production

They ensure the planning, implementation and interpretation of internal experiments and series of experiments

They manage, accompany and interpret external development projects at suppliers/partners and support cooperation with universities and research institutions

They work closely with the Analysis group, define experimental conditions and interpret analytical results (e.g. SIMS, XPS, XRD, FIB/SEM, TEM, etc.)

They consolidate and analyze results, discuss them in project teams and then present them to project management

They drive your ideas forward with the development teams and thereby significantly shape the shift development in technologically demanding projects of the SMT

They bring a successfully completed engineering or natural science studies (e.g. materials science, surface engineering, chemical engineering, physics, physical chemistry, nanotechnology), ideally with doctoral studies and/or relevant professional experience

You have practical experience with vacuum plant technology as well as coating technology (PVD, CVD, ALD, etc.) and ideally knowledge in galvanic processes

You have experience in the planning, implementation and analysis of scientific experiments

They ideally have knowledge of statistical analysis, such as DoE, 6-Sigma, FMEA, 8D and first experience in the development of manufacturing processes.

They are a team player with a high level of communication skills and enjoy creative and independent work

You have knowledge of German and English
