Radiation protection worker (m/f/d)

You implement defined radiation protection measures so that there is no risk of incorporation of radioactive substances or contamination for our staff when used in the plant. You carry out routine radiation protection monitoring, take wiping tests, change filters or support the passenger lock to enter and leave the control area. You support and monitor colleagues (m/w/d) in work with special personal protective equipment and, if necessary, accompany the operations personally. You carry out measurements on the objects and working materials used in work operations and control them for contamination before You are removed from the control area. You carry out the measurements required for the declaration of residual materials and the qualification of waste bins according to the specifications. You establish the functionality of the radiation protection instrumentation and, in some cases, carry out self-recurring tests. You maintain the written documentation of the radiation protection measures carried out.

You have completed a completed vocational training - preferably in the field of technical science - and in addition a further training as a radiation protection worker*in (m/w/d). Ideally, you have already gained first professional experience in the operational radiation protection of a nuclear plant and in the handling of alpha radiators. You have a good look at hazard potentials and risks in your work environment and, through a constructive cooperation with the operating managers (m/w/d), you can achieve the requirements for radiation protection in a calm but determined manner and integrate them into the workflows as best possible. You live an open cooperation in the team and you are happy to reach your colleagues (m/w/d) under your arms if necessary. Work medical suitability for work in radiation protection control areas and under respiratory protection is required (G26.3 desirable, but at least G26.2). You have German knowledge at least on C1 level and convince by a very good oral and written expressability
