IT Specialist with a focus on servers (m/f/d)

As an IT expert:in, you are engaged in the safe and stable operation of the servers and system landscapes of our customers and take on the role of the first contact person in demanding IT problems, ensure availability of the central IT services, support the development of the infrastructure and actively participate in modernization projects. Planning, implementation and continuous optimization of the server infrastructure incl. Management of Active Directory, Group Policy and User Rights. Ensuring system availability, performance and IT security as well as support for virtualization environments (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox). Conducting fault analyses and bug fixes in 2nd/3rd level support incl. Patch, update management and monitoring of the systems. Managing backup and recovery solutions, creating technical documentation and active participation in IT projects (e.g. migration, cloud integration, modernization of data center structures).

Completed study in the IT field or a related subject, alternatively a comparable training, and qualification. Very good knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux (Microsoft, RHEL, IBM AIX, Ubuntu). Experience with virtualization, storage and network bases and secure handling of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP. Knowledge in IT Security and Backup /Recovery Strategies. Teamability and strong service orientation.
