PROFESSUR „HUMANERNEUNG“ (W2)

Your main tasks:

› scientifically sound and practical teaching in all Bachelor and Master's degree programmes of the Department of Oecotrophology,

› Representation of the perspective of human nutrition and dietary medicine based on nutritional, epidemiological, and medical findings in the fields of oecotrophology and dietology, among others: nutritional physiology, human nutrition, dietary diseases, clinical nutrition, nutritional and activity recommendations,

› Participation in the field-specific project-oriented study concept,

› Implementation of courses in English,

› Further development of the courses of study

› active development and participation in inter- and transdisciplinary research activities,

› Representation of the subject in the public,

› active participation in academic self-government.

Your profile:

› Study of Oecotrophology, Nutrition, or a related study programme,

› relevant promotion and professional experience in the fields of human nutrition and diets in companies and/or institutions,

› Willingness and ability to make newer scientific findings doactically usable for the various professions of Oecotrophology and to develop further.

› Experiences in nutritional advice and therapy are desired.

› International professional experiences and research activities are required.

Prerequisite for the appointment according to §§ 67, 68 HessHG

› a qualified doctorate,

› proven pedagogical suitability,

› special achievements in the application and development of scientific knowledge and methods in at least five years of professional practice, of which at least three years outside the higher education sector or additional scientific achievements.

The occupation of the place is usually carried out in accordance with § 67 para. 7 HessHG in the official relationship to rehearsal. The trial period is three years. The body is available indefinitely.

The submission of equivalence is not necessary if the foreign education is explicitly listed in the ANABIN database; It must be borne in mind from ANABIN that the degree has been awarded by a recognised university and is assigned to the equivalence class “equivalent” in relation to a German degree of education.
