Practical and theoretical knowledge for performing a peripheral venous puncture Knowledge of exclusion criteria and possible complications Anatomical and physiological foundations of the vascular and circulatory system Guidelines for the establishment of the donor area and the handling of the required instruments and materials Conducting blood collection and preparation of blood products Support for donor doctors in complications Organisational and administrative tasks for blood donation appointments Application of quality management requirements Tasks as medical/specialist helpers during training: You will pack up and dismantle the appointment Determination of the hemoglobin value of the donors You make sure that required materials are filled up Labeling the blood bag with the donor data Tasks as medical specialist after training: Variety of activities related to up and down, blood collection, donor care and documentation Operations in the team in Bavarian municipalities (up to about 150 km around the working place) – driving time = working time. A driving licence of class B is required You are the central contact person for donors and work closely with doctors and volunteers Digital work with tablet – also privately usable

Practice: Use in the mobile blood donation team at your location Course dates 2026: Block 1: 26.10. -30.10.2026 Block 2: 09.11. - 13.11.2026 Block 3: 23.11. - 27.11.2026 Block 4: 14.12. - 18.12.2026 incl. Audit A placement in the blood donation service is now possible and at least. 2–3 months before the start of the course, to provide a good insight into the company and internal processes.
