In close cooperation with IT service providers and manufacturers, the Systemtechnik group within the Metering department is responsible for providing modern and precise meter technology. Their tasks include the introduction of new technical solutions together with the relevant specialist areas, the establishment and operation of the necessary ICT infrastructure and the implementation of functional and integration tests to ensure a smooth interaction of the technical components and interfaces. Responsibility for the technical implementation of regulatory requirements from MsbG and GNDEW through the successful integration of new solutions and technologies into the control operation of the measuring station operator with the involvement of internal departments, IT service providers and device manufacturers Testing and evaluation of new device, communication and system solutions including their integration into the IT system landscape by laboratory and field testing to ensure stable and mass-ready operation Development of technical specifications and processes together with the specialist areas for the sustainable integration of new solutions in operation and their continuous optimization based on operational requirements Conducting functional testing of counter technology and the associated IT systems to ensure interoperability and compatibility with increasing equipment diversity Analysis of technical disturbances in regular operation by data-based evaluations to limit errors, identification of causes and derivation of sustainable solutions

a completed university degree with reference to technology, economy or a comparable qualification multiannual professional experience in the field of counter technology, communication solutions, energy-economic IT systems or comparable technical system landscapes Experience in the introduction, integration or operation of technical solutions and complex system landscapes ideally energy-economic process knowledge as well as a sound understanding of regulatory and market-side requirements for measuring point operators the ability to work across disciplines and tackle technical challenges together with internal and external stakeholders in a solution-oriented manner a high self-initiative and a structured, analytical and targeted way of working a strong willingness to learn and interest in new technologies and energy issues
