Head of Engineering Theory & Design (m/f/d)

You take over the disciplinary leadership of the employees in an interdisciplinary team. In your role, you conduct employee talks and then carry out a performance assessment. Your group's staff deployment planning and delivery of skills and resources to all projects is your responsibility. You provide these resources for customer-neutral or customer-related projects during different project phases. You plan and carry out training measures for the personal and professional development of your employees. You harmonize and communicate the Theory & Design activities in the entire company and develop product concepts for underwater vehicles together with your group. You actively promote the continuous improvement of workflows and methods for product design and ship theory. Close cooperation with the other organizational units of the Submarines and Engineering segment is one of your tasks.

You have a successfully completed study as a shipbuilding engineer and have at least. 5 years of professional experience in shipbuilding theory/design or comparable. You have profound knowledge in the field of ship theory and in the design of complex maritime systems at a shipyard or an engineering office. You are safe in handling MS-Office and Systems Engineering (SE) methodology. A structured and independent way of working is one of your strengths. You are characterized by a safe occurrence, sense of responsibility and a high commitment. Very good language skills in German and English complete your profile.
