Tasks, competences and responsibility
- Preparation is everything: cleaning, gluing and masking of the components before painting
- Color accuracy counts: mixing of paints according to technical data sheets
- Precision in each layer: foundation and painting of mechanical parts and large components with structural and smooth lacquers (1K and 2K)
- Responsibility for quality: ensuring surface quality and layer thickness
Technical requirements
- Complete vocational training as industrial painter, automotive painter or comparable qualification
- Practical experience in handling structural and smooth lacquers (1K and 2K)
- Good visual feel for layer thicknesses and surfaces
- Experience in handling large components of advantage
- Required: ability to guide industrial trucks (e.g. crane license, truck certificate)
