Specialist SAP BTP / Extension & Integration (m/f/d)

As part of our SAP Transformation Program, we are looking for an experienced SAP BTP / Extension & Integration expert (m/w/d) that actively promotes the further development of our application landscape. In this role, you are responsible for the design and implementation of a future-oriented extension and integration architecture based on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and ensure the sustainable development of our system landscape in the sense of the Clean Core Strategy. Furthermore, the role will be very strongly integrated into the SAP Rise with Google projects and will act closely with SAP and Google and transform our existing on-premise systems into SAP Rise with Google and develop them there. The SIGNAL IDUNA has a clear AI strategy, which is also implemented through this role in the SAP environment. Your responsibilities You are responsible for the design of extensions and integration solutions in the SAP RISE context and secure their seamless embedding in our system landscape You define and establish extension concepts (Side-by-Side, Key User, On-Stack) in line with the SAP Clean Core Strategy You design and realize integration scenarios with the SAP Integration Suite and connect SAP and non-SAP systems efficiently and stable You accompany the implementation of applications and extensions on SAP BTP (e.g. CAP, RAP, UI5) and ensure compliance with architectural principles and best practices You work closely with Solution Architecture, departments and project teams and actively contribute to the further development of the target architecture You evaluierst new technologies (e.g. AI services on BTP) and implement them specifically in scalable solutions with business value

has a deep understanding of modern system architectures, distributed systems and cloud-based platforms brings sound experience with the SAP Business Technology Platform and the SAP Integration Suite have practical experience in developing BTP applications (e.g. CAP, RAP, UI5, Node.js/Java, Kyma) and have already worked in SAP transformation projects ideally brings experience to the SAP S/4HANA or RISE environment and understands the requirements of complex system landscapes and infrastructure projects works structured, solution-oriented, like to take responsibility communicates safely with specialist areas, IT and project teams, safe to negotiate in German and English (both in word and writing) ideally brings first experiences with RAP and CAP as well as points of contact with AI services on SAP BTP has preferably relevant SAP certifications in the field of BTP, integration or architecture
