Signal Processing Systems Development Engineer (m/f/d)

PROCITEC has been developing highly specialized software for radio and signal processing for over 25 years – made in Pforzheim, in use worldwide. And our company continues to grow strong: Over the past three years, the team has grown from about 60 to almost 90 employees – and we are already heading to the brand from 100. We are in an exciting phase: new products are created, new international markets are opened up. Our technologies are used in the defence environment and must be adapted and rolled out for new and existing customers. With us you accompany the entire Hands-on realisation chain – from the first idea to design and development to successful commissioning with the customer. This is exactly what makes this role particularly varied and at the same time relevant to the success of the company. You will be part of the 'Development & Integration' team with currently five employees and a team leader. As a sixth person in the team you report directly to them, depending on the project you also work directly with the Director Professional Services and will also spend time on site with the customer. You support us in building and integrating customer systems based on our standard products and actively integrate your ideas into projects. You develop system components and graphical surfaces for complex signal processing systems and accompany projects from specification to productive use. · Design, development, documentation and testing of software components · Platform-independent software development for Windows and Linux · Working in an agile team with close professional exchange · Development and standardization of our DevOps processes, methods and tools

You have a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics or a comparable qualification. You bring well-founded experience in software development with C++ / Qt. In addition: · Knowledge of software development with Python · Experience with CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, Conan, Git or CMake · Interest in databases, ideally PostgreSQL · Enthusiasm for analysis and processing of radio signals · Very good German knowledge · Standing for occasional missions within Germany
