The area of plant operation is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the 380 and 220 kilovolt network for substations and free lines in the area. Furthermore, on behalf of the project management, we take over the quality control for commissioned construction measures on the network. The primary objective is to ensure trouble-free and accident-free operation while at the same time high plant availability. They maintain, coordinate and monitor the maintenance and operation of the cable systems of the high and high voltage network (AC/HVDC) of TransnetBW GmbH. As a central contact person for cable systems, you will provide the operational units with your technical expertise and support in matters relating to plant design and maintenance. In particular, you have a significant impact in the planning and construction of the SuedLink DC project. They help with major disturbances, perform disturbance and damage analyses, create fault reports and develop suggestions for the maintenance program. In the SuedLink DC project, you conduct quality controls in the field of HV cable systems, accompany the technical decreases in manufacturers and the further development in the sense of the operational quality requirement. They work in internal and external bodies, representing the interests of the plant operation of TransnetBW GmbH.

You have completed an engineering study of electrical engineering with a focus on energy technology or high-voltage technology. They ideally provide practical knowledge in the maintenance and operation of high-voltage and high-voltage systems, in particular of cable systems. They like to work in the team, have a high level of social competence and are enforceable. They have an independent way of working, a high sense of responsibility and have good English skills in word and writing. You own the class B driver's license and bring travel readiness.
