Environmental Planning Engineer

We are looking for you as an engineer:in Environmental Planning (w/m/d) for DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH at Hamburg or Hannover. Your tasks:

Your main task is the project-related processing of environmental planning – both autonomously and in the team – as part of smaller, medium and large planning projects The core of your work is also the creation of environmental expert opinions, reports and expert opinions, including environmental impact assessments (UVP), including environmental screenings, landscape management accompanying plans (LBP), FFH pre- and compatibility assessments, technical contributions to the Water Framework Directive (WRRL) and, if necessary, species conservation expert contributions You are advising our clients: in the fields of nature conservation, procedural issues, as well as in the allocation, financing and implementation of landscape-care measures Implementation of, for example, biotope types / faunistic mappings, or also on occasion of different species groups within the North region In addition, you take the digitalization with various GIS and/or CAD programs You support the team leadership in technical questions and take part in cross-disciplinary topics in the area of “Environment & Geo-Service” for the Nord region

Your profile:

Successfully completed technical/university studies of geoecology, geography, environmental/landscape planning or comparable disciplines First experience as a project operator:in the evaluation and experience in the independent processing and preparation of environmental expert opinions in projects You have deeper knowledge of the laws and regulations that are relevant to nature and art protection, knowledge of vegetation, species protection, and environmental care and consulting of builders Communication skills, team skills, initiative and independent work are among your strengths You value the variety between indoor and outdoor services and bring the willingness to participate in occasional (multi-day) missions We can require the safe handling of MS Office as well as basic knowledge of GIS products (ArcGIS, QGIS) with you and the ownership of a valid class B driver completes your profile
