Responsibility for creative development and elaboration for the Knit product group in commercial goods Creation of color and trend concepts as well as co-design of 4 market-oriented collections Design designs, material selection and fit samples from the first technical sketch to production maturity selection of suitable yarns and materials in accordance with the production plant machinery Performance of samples and technical tests Analysis and elimination of knitting errors (e.g. tension, mesh, dimensional stability ...) Monitoring quality, fit and processing Organization and Ensuring a Fair and Market Based Collection Development Accompanying the entire product development process in close coordination with internal and external partners Selection, coordination and development of all ingredients in the patterning

Successfully completed studies in fashion design Multiannual professional experience as a designer for knitting Good feeling for fashion and trends as well as high creativity and attention to detail Knowledge of knitting yarn and understanding of material properties Knowledge of knitting techniques, flat and round knitting machines and the development of knitting patterns Experience with Intarsia, Fully Fashion and Seamless Technologies Understanding the Gauge and fineness of different yarns Technical understanding and creativity in technical implementation Knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator Very good specialist English skills
