As Senior Manager Strategy & Transactions - Chemistry & Materials (m/w/d) you advise our clients in the chemical and material industry in the strategic preparation, implementation and evaluation of demanding transactions. Hands-on entry: You support our clients in the course of Vendor-Assistance and Financial-Due-Diligence projects (sales and sales). Commercial due diligence: analysis of markets, competitors, technologies and value chains along the entire M&A process. Project management: Leadership of interdisciplinary teams and management of complex projects in close cooperation with Deloitte expert: women from Strategy, Value Creation and Tax. Strategic advice: Development of growth and M&A strategies for international chemical and material companies. Business Development: Expansion and maintenance of networks in the European chemical industry and active participation of our House of Chemicals.

University degree in chemistry, economic chemistry, industrial engineering or comparable discipline; ideally with doctoral degree and additional qualification (e.g. MBA) Mind. 10 years of professional experience in the chemical or specialty chemicals industry, e.g. in-house consulting or corporate development, in strategy consulting. Depending on the professional experience, entry to director level is also possible Deep understanding of market dynamics, value chains and technology trends in the chemical industry Experience in project management, customer communication and team leadership at senior management level readiness to travel and German and English very well in word and writing
