Your entry: In the 24-month ''Technology'' trainee program at EWE NETZ, you change every three months to a new, exciting station and get to know our technical infrastructure from different perspectives: In asset management energy, you are immersed in the strategic planning of our energy networks. You will learn how to create requirements for networks and installations, how to develop investment and maintenance strategies and how to align our infrastructure sustainably for the energy system of tomorrow. You actively participate in shaping the backbone of the future energy supply

In special technology, you experience how these strategies are implemented in an operational manner. You accompany project leaders in technically demanding construction projects - for example in the construction of substations, biogas feeders or gas high pressure lines - and gains deep insights into the construction, operation and optimization of complex technical installations

Another focus is on measuring technology. Here you actively shape future-proof processes by developing and implementing a new digital process for the installation of large gas meters - from the analysis of existing processes to the conception and implementation in operational operation. How to create the basis for efficient, transparent and safe processes in our energy networks

Over all stations, you take responsibility in real projects, work closely with different disciplines and build a strong network throughout the Group - a real booster for your technical career

That's what you bring: A completed study (Bachelor or Master) in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Supply Technology or a comparable technical degree course that qualifies you for work on networks and plants

Interest in strategic planning, construction and operation of energy infrastructure and technical installations.

Curiosity for complex technical relationships and the motivation to actively participate in the energy transition.

A digital mindset and readiness to critically question processes and to simplify them with digital approaches
