As a project engineer (m/w/d), you support strategy implementation in the national companies in the field of production, process and packaging technology and work with the control and coordination of international production and technology activities. You are responsible for the practical and scientifically sound processing of projects and investments. These include the planning of procedures, setup and detail plans, CAD layouts, functional plans, energy balances and static reviews. You also carry out travels and work visits to identify and lift the actual state with the aim of identifying and raising optimization potentials. You select concepts, processes, plants and machines, and start cost estimates as well as investment combinations. Budget management is also one of your tasks. You will also advise on the optimization and continuous further development of production processes as well as process and packaging techniques. You will visit trade fairs, seminars and workshops and design target states taking into account new technological developments and company standards. You initiate, conduct or accompany change and development projects. You work interdisciplinary with other specialist departments, participate in project meetings and take care of the preparation of specifications up to technical planning. You tune project bills, conduct experiments and select suitable manufacturing technologies and suppliers. In your role, you negotiate with suppliers, specify technical specifications, conduct price negotiations and monitor and control the progress of the project.

You have a successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable degree course. Ideally, you also have completed technical training. During your multi-year professional experience, you could already demonstrate your very good conceptual skills, process understanding and project management skills in the food industry. You have comprehensive business knowledge in the fields of investment accounting, cost accounting and workflow organization. Your good CAD skills as well as your practical experience in purchasing negotiations, contract awarding and contract law are yours. Your very good knowledge of German and English as well as your international readiness to travel complete your profile.
