In order to strengthen our sustainability strategy and the future-oriented development of our real estate sector, we establish the new group “SOFE – Sustainability and Development” in the SOF (Central Facility Management). As a central competence center, SOFE is responsible for the strategic optimization of our nationwide locations, taking into account ESG criteria – from the development of future-oriented building and usage concepts to the control of the interfaces for their implementation. As a group leader (m/w/d), you take over the disciplinary and professional leadership of your team and promote a productive working environment focusing on ideas development, conceptual work and innovative solutions. You initiate further training measures to encourage employees and strengthen corporate culture by anchoring DZ BANK's attitudes. You design the nationwide location and building strategy and develop future-oriented campus, buildings and Use concepts taking into account ESG requirements, cost-effectiveness and usage requirements. You develop sustainability standards, ensure their compliance just as those of building certifications and are responsible for the Group-wide CSRD reporting including data management and external audits. You strategically manage both energy management towards decarbonization and sustainable efficiency enhancement as well as conceptually sustainable renovation and development projects – including responsibility for budget, results, handover and coordination. You ensure effective interface management and work closely with stakeholders such as construction design, maintenance, building operation or real estate strategy for holistic solutions. You co-operate with relevant group bodies and units such as group development or strategy, in addition to reporting on ecology, You also take over the development of group specifications and ensure compliance.

Successful study (Master / Diploma) of architecture or civil engineering – as an alternative a bachelor degree of facility management, DAS (Diploma of Advanced Studies) or a comparable academic degree, ideally with a focus on sustainability Long-standing relevant professional practice in strategic real estate development or sustainable construction – of advantage: additional qualifications in sustainable construction (e.g. DGNB Auditor / DGNB Consultant, LEED AP) Detectional leadership experience as well as project management knowledge for the management of complex construction and development projects, with a strong leadership competence with the ability to motivate and further develop employees Learn how to implement sustainability reporting and how to deal with ESG criteria in real estate context and relevant building certification systems (e.g. DGNB, LEED, BREEAM) Expertise in energy management (ISO 50001) as well as in the development and implementation of decarbo­nization and energy efficiency strategies, complemented by knowledge in the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) Very good German and English in word and writing
