At CMBlu Energy, the simulation team supports the R&D teams with root cause analyses, design assessments and performance forecasts at all levels of our battery - from the molecule to components and systems to the PowerHouse Your responsibilities • Head of a team of 6 Simulation Engineers, including capacity planning and performance management • Conducting 1:1 conversations and feedback cycles, support for hiring, onboarding and workload balancing • Coaching team members for new skills and continuous development • Transfer of corporate strategy and quarterly OKRs (Objective Key Results) in simulation goals and measurable results • Ensuring the implementation and further development of the simulation platform • Preparation and moderation of stakeholder updates and presentation of results • Control of external consulting, universities and IT service providers Your profile • Multiannual experience in numerical simulation, e.g. electro/thermal systems, system simulation, control/co simulation • proven leadership experience (technical and disciplinary) • strong prioritization and delivery skills, familiar with roadmaps, OKRs, Kanban/Scrum • excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in German and/or English • Know-how in the battery/energy storage area or in power/thermal simulation • Experience with tools such as COMSOL, Ansys, Modelica/Dymola or HPC environments
