The Malteser Hilfsdienst e. V. is one of Germany's largest charitable organisations with around 1.000.000 members and more than 50,000 volunteer employees. Progressive digitization opens up new possibilities for handling data – from strategic planning to operational implementation. We are looking for you as a (Junior) Data Analyst (m/w/d) in full time to strengthen our team at the headquarters in Cologne.

They act as an interface between business, data science and data engineering and develop innovative analytical solutions – from conception to documentation to implementation They conduct statistical evaluations and answer operational and strategic questions, in particular in the context of marketing activities You select, process and analyze data for implementing targeted measures They take over the data-based requirement management in close cooperation with the departments and, together with the Data Engineering team, supported ensuring current and high-quality data You derive concrete recommendations from your analyses and identify new potentials They conduct self-responsible training for the users of your developed solutions and provide advice to them They analyze professional processes and prepare complex data relationships in a comprehensible and user-oriented manner As a (Junior) Data Analyst, you continuously expand your skills in data modeling, machine learning and statistics. By working with our Data Scientists, you can develop into the Data Scientist

A successfully completed study in (economic) informatics, statistics, mathematics, physics or a comparable qualification Good knowledge in SQL as well as first experiences with business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Qlik, Tableau) Ideally first experiences with Microsoft Fabric A pronounced analytical ability, a structured way of working and the ability to understand complex facts Team spirit, communication strength (German and English) and joy in further development Curiosity, initiative and above all: fun on data!
