The SOS Children's Village Niederrhein is active in child and youth assistance, vocational education and counselling. We take care of children, young people, adults and families in special situations of life. Our facility is represented at the Niederrhein in Kleve, Kevelaer, Emmerich am Rhein, Geldern and Duisburg with more than ten locations. Around 300 employees help, support and accompany 2,500 people, participants and visitors.

For our SOS-Kinderdorf Niederrhein we are looking for our stationary housing groups at the next possible time Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, full-time or part-time (max. 38.5 h/w)

For our fully-stationary housing groups, we are looking for dedicated educational professionals who are able to help children and adolescents with heart and mind. They accompany up to eight young people in their daily lives, whose food is permanently within the protected framework of the children's village. Your tasks include: daily support and individual support: They contribute to the structured daily routine and promote children and young people in their personal strengths as well as school and social skills. Life-related pedagogy: They convey everyday skills and support development processes – with an open ear, a helping hand and creative ideas Cooperative network work: They work closely with youth offices, schools, doctors, therapists and other institutions to implement individual support measures Relationship work: They also support the system of origin, advise and accompany relatives with respect and empathy Variety in everyday life: shared excursions, leisure activities, festivals and rituals enrich life in the group of homes and strengthen the unity Teamwork & Protection Concepts: In a collegial exchange, you create a reliable, transparent team culture and actively contribute to the implementation of our child protection concept
