Project Controller

The fiber institute Bremen e.V. researches as an institute of the University of Bremen in the fields of production, characterization and application of fibers, technical textiles and fiber composite materials. An interdisciplinary and international team of around 55 employees is engaged in publicly funded and industrially funded research projects as well as in university teaching. The institute has an independent administration team, which organizes all commercial matters and personnel. As part of a restructure, we are looking to strengthen this team at the next possible time Project controller*in

Expansion and maintenance of existing cost and project accounting Creation of under-year economic evaluations Management and Controlling of current projects at the InstituteAnsprechpartner*in for employees and project promoters Monitoring and adaptation of project budgets, coordination of changes Participation in the award of contracts

Creation of project accounts in the form of proofs of interim and use, taking into account individual funding requirements from federal and state ministries Monitoring of external audits of evidence of use

Participation in drafting applications

Completion of vocational training as a tax specialistn, financial accountantin or completed studies of business management or comparable A good understanding of figures and a passion for organization combined with self-initiative, self-employment and solution-oriented thinking Finded knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel Experience in project controlling and in cost and performance calculation is desirable Basic knowledge of budgetary, procurement and grant rights are advantageous
