Minijob / Day Help, Room Cleaning (m/f/d)

Mercure Hotel Gera City is a mid-class hotel in Gera's historic centre, surrounded by restaurants, culture and parks. Our guests can stay in 165 modern, air-conditioned rooms, complete a workout in the hotel's fitness room, enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant and let the day end with a glass of wine or beer at the bar. Our 11 meeting rooms with a flexible capacity of up to 250 people complete our hotel offer.

We are now looking for a diligent and conscientious help to support our housekeeping team in the area of room cleaning.

Your tasks:

• Cleaning of guest rooms and bathrooms according to the specified standards
• Exchange of bed and terry linen in the rooms as required
• Control of technical facilities in the departure rooms (TV, lamps, heating)
• Adjusting the ventilation system in the rooms according to appropriate specifications
• Filling up cosmetics and hygiene products and welcome water in the rooms
• cleaning of public and non-public areas by instruction
• Professional collection of finds
• Housekeeping – keep service cars neat and clean as well as equip for daily needs (optional cleaning)
• Housekeeping – Keep service storage neat and clean
• detection of damage to bed linen and terry linen and separate collection
• Compliance with all hygiene standards and safety instructions
