You lead a team of ten experienced engineers, develop our automated and platform-based infrastructure and ensure that resilience is an integral part of all our systems. You lead, develop and coach a team of experienced infrastructure engineers as well as external partners. You take the end-to-end responsibility for our data center infrastructure, including hardware lifecycle management, rack setup and cabling, virtualization platforms and operating systems. You continue to operate and develop our network infrastructure together with your team, including Datacenter Switching & Routing, WAN, BGP, Firewalling, Load Balancing and Connectivity. You are responsible for the operation and further development of our productive Kubernetes platform (Red Hat OpenShift) as well as the storage and backup landscape behind it. You drive automation and platform engineering to integrate resilience, availability and compliance from the outset into our infrastructure. From the outset, you will form a newly founded team, including its culture, working methods, roadmap and collaboration with adjacent teams.

You have multi-year leadership experience as Team Lead and have real interest in developing people. You bring several years of experience in operating operational or critical infrastructures, ideally in KRITIS or other regulated environments. You will bring a sound technical understanding of data center operations (compound, virtualization, operating systems) as well as enterprise networking (routing, BGP, firewalling, DNS and network architectures). You have practical experience with container platforms, ideally Red Hat OpenShift, as well as storage and backup concepts. You are structuring and confident with incidents, risks and resilience topics. Experiences in the environment of ISO 27001, KRITIS or NIS2 audits are a plus. You speak German and English fluently in word and writing.
