The fields of application are the heart catheter laboratory and the circulatory laboratory.

In the heart catheter laboratory: expert assistance and precise documentation in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Participation in 24-hour readiness for optimal care of patients with acute coronary syndrome Support in implantation and care of pacemakers and ICD systems Assistance in electrophysiological studies and interventions

In the circulatory laboratory: registration of rest and stress ECGs, application and evaluation of long-term ECGs and long-term blood pressure measurements Participation in lung function diagnosis Assistance in transthoracal and transösophageal echocardiographies and duplex sonographies

completed qualification as health and nursing assistant, medical/specialist (MFA) or medical/technical assistant (MTA) ideally well-founded knowledge of the tasks in the heart catheter and circulatory laboratory safe handling of computer-assisted processes and common PC applications distinct professional competence combined with outstanding communicative and empirical skills Responsibility, strong team spirit and reliable, loyal and service-oriented working Willingness to participate in the heart catheter a health condition of the temporary wearing of an approx. 5 kg X-ray protection apron for use in the heart catheter laboratory
