As a Production Assistant (m/w/d) in Cologne you work in the middle of ongoing production. You help running machines, materials stand ready and finished parts are cleanly controlled and packed.

Don't worry: No one will introduce you to any facility on the first day and expect you to be able to do everything right away.

You will be worked in step by step and learn your workplace, the machines and the processes at rest.

Work is carried out in the 3 layer system with early, late and night shift. Therefore, it is important that you can reliably reach your workplace at all shift times.

Your Daily Business as a Production Helper – Your Layer

You are a Production Assistant (m/w/d) directly where something is created. Together with your team, you will ensure that material, machine and quality come together.

Your tasks are practical, comprehensible and can be done well after you have been incorporated.

• Machines operate: You serve production facilities after your introduction and keep in mind during production whether everything runs clean. • Provide material: You make sure that raw materials, components and packaging materials are located where they are needed. • Insert Parts: You put materials or components into the machine as specified. • Refer to products: After the production step, you take the finished parts from the plant and prepare them for the next step. • Control quality: You look closely and check whether the manufactured parts are cleanly processed and free of visible defects. • Sort error: If something doesn't fit, sort out the corresponding parts and let them know. • To help retrofit: With simple setup and conversion work, you support your colleagues. • Packing and marking: You pack finished products neatly and bring labels or markings to your destination. • Take stock: Production quantities and vulnerabilities are briefly documented by you. • keep order: Together you ensure that your workplace remains clean, safe and tidy. • Information: During the shift transfer, you will briefly tell the next team what is important.
